Coldplay have revealed their first single from their new album “Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends” (set to be released 12th June) this afternoon on BBC Radio 1. The single is available free at their official site Coldplay.com, but if like me you had problems accessing the site while millions of others do, you can check it out here. It’s quite a rocky affair, featuring a guitar solo, a drumming, driving beat and while it may signal the departure from their old sound that they’ve suggested would be happening from this new LP, it’s still very much a signature Coldplay track.

Nice! 🙂
Coldplay rules!!! Come to Israel!! 🙂
I really like “Violet Hill” and I think it was the best of the songs to be the first single, but, still it isn’t the best song on the album. In my opinion, Strawberry Swing is the most wonderful song on Viva La Vida! (:
